Showajima
This station is next to the heart of the Tokyo Monorail, the Showajima car base. The base holds much of the machinery that keeps our trains running safely: the operations control center, the power control center, our repair shops, and the teams that inspect and repair the track itself.
Also nearby are the Morigasaki Water Reclamation Center, the Haneda Tekko apartments, and Keihinjima Tsubasa Park where you can enjoy having barbecues and more.

Station Area Information
Keihinjima Tsubasa Park
Below the station, east across the Kyowa Bridge and at the end of Keihinjima is Keihinjima Tsubasa Park. This is a famous spot among serious aircraft lovers.
You'll lose track of time as planes roar overhead, almost close enough to touch as they take off and land at Haneda Airport. Plus, the view at night is exceptional. Take in your fill of the beauty of Tokyo at night as you gaze upon Haneda Airport, Odaiba, Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Tower and more.
Morigasaki Park
Head south from the station and you'll arrive at Morigasaki park. The park sits on the roof of the Morigasaki Water Reclamation Center, and from its southeast viewing platform you'll be able to see Haneda Airport and the factories in Kawasaki.
The park has many trees and flowers that bloom in every season, as well as things for kids to enjoy: playground equipment, a sandbox, an expansive lawn, and basketball hoops. For exercise, you can use the free tennis court and training ground.
